Whether we like it or not, writers have had to adapt to a changing media landscape that prioritizes video content above static imagery or simple text. Attention spans might be shorter, but that does not mean that they are not reachable. Each YouTube video I create features original recipes, original videography, and most importantly — original voiceover essays. It’s how I have managed to find a growing audience for my written work, and it teaches me that writers are capable of evolving and shifting strategies to reach more readers than they ever thought possible.
